Welcome to the Seven Sisters Community Council (Seven Sisters CC) website.
Seven Sisters, also known as Blaendulais, is a village with an electorate of approximately 1650 situated in the upper Dulais Valley and some 9 miles from Neath. The village is named after Seven Sisters Colliery which closed in the early 1960’s. The old colliery site now comprises a popular playing field, walk and BMX track.
Seven Sisters Community Council (Seven Sisters CC) is responsible for the running and maintenance of Brynbedd Cemetery, the Recreation Ground, the BMX track and it also owns the Community Hall which is under the management of the Community Hall Association of Seven Sisters (CHAOSS), a Private Limited Company run by volunteers. The Hall also includes a library, recently taken over by the Community Council from Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. The Hall is a thriving centre of the community and may be booked for classes, parties etc. on weekdays and at weekends by contacting the caretaker on 01639 701404.
The Seven Sisters Community Council (Seven Sisters CC) website is funded by the Welsh Government
